What do I pay for your services?
As an applicant, you will not pay for any of the services FPC St. Lawrence provides. All positions are 100% employer fee paid

Will my search be confidential?

Discretion is vital during recruiting, interviewing, and negotiating to fill a position. Credentials and privileged information are handled in confidence. Our goal is to serve as an effective and trustworthy liaison between a potential employer and a candidate. You can trust that each FPC consultant with whom you have contact understands and abides by this credo and our code of ethics.

What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered?

Not every job is going to meet the expectations you have. If you are not interested in a position, you are free to decline. We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.

What else can I do to help my job search?

If you are looking to change industries, networking is your best bet. Business networking sites like LinkedIn are a good place to start. There are also many niche industry networking sites that can provide access to industry insiders who can help you during your transition. Take classes and volunteer in your desired industry. Join the industry associations and take part in their events. Being around people in the industry is the best way to step through the door when it opens.

What is involved in the application process?

You will be asked to provide complete work history information as well as the asked type of work and preference of location.

After the application is complete, you will interview with a recruiting manager. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss your skills and what you are looking for in your next position. The recruiting manager will discuss not only what specific skills you have, but also find out more about your experiences in job-related settings.

How soon can I start working?

Job availability changes on a daily basis. Once our application process is complete, you will be considered based on your preferences and your skills and will be offered appropriate positions.
